What do we believe?
We believe in people and their potential as humans beings. Through participatory photography, participants have the possibility to start a unique journey of self-discovery and self-knowledge. This process unfolds an unprecedented openness and interaction among people and between the group, as well as spaces of improbable dialogues made possible through photography.
To share the ‘I’ and the ‘self’ in relation to others creates a bridge of knowledge, understanding and spontaneous interaction useful to deconstruct prejudices, to stimulate collective thinking willing to build a more inclusive, plural and tolerant society.

MISSION

To promote positive social change where individuals are empowered to be active agents of their own transformation so their quality of life may improve.

TEAM

FOS strength is that we have a team with people from different academic backgrounds and social contexts.
We put together community building experts with cultural creatives and artists, we mix social educators with photographers and psychologists, we team up communication experts, social scientists, and managers so we can address the challenges of each project from different perspectives.
